Vocabulary 8th sections 7-10

These are the new vocabulary words for sections 7-10 the other 6 sections will be included on the test.

Assertive- able to state one's position boldly and positively.
Aggressive- inclined to act in a hostile manner.
Passive- acception without objection or resistance.
Compromise- when people in conflict each give up some of what they want in order to get some of what they want.
Negotiation- when people in conflict come up with a solution that allows everyone to have what they really want; also called a win-win situation.
Persuade- to cause to do something especially by reasoning, urging, to convince.
Tactic- any method used to gain something
Persistance- constantly repeated; continued, to keep trying.
