As November rapidly approaches new topics for 7th grade will be Body Systems; including digestive, respiratory, nervous, cardiovascular, reproductive, skeletal, and circulatory. We will be learning the basic components and functions of each system.
8th grade starts Lifeskills. This unit teaches the skills needed to have a happy, healthy, and productive life. Topics found in this section include Drug Abuse and Violence: Cause and Effect, Making Decisions, Media Influence, Coping with Anxiety and Anger, Communication Skills, Social Skills, Assertiveness, Resolving Conflicts, and Resisting Peer Pressure.
